Upregulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway has been implicated in glioma-related epileptogenesis. In this retrospective analysis, epilepsy characteristics and response to treatment were evaluated in patients with gliomas harboring somatic mutation variants in PIK3CA.
