BACKGROUND: Urothelial carcinomas (UCs) are highly prevalent in patients with end-stage renal disease. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is the predecessor of end-stage renal disease, and it is also associated with UC. However, the interplay between CKD and UC lacks solid evidence.
