In the present study, we analysed 44 formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) from different solid tumours by adopting two different next generation sequencing platforms: GeneReader (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany) and Ion Torrent (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, Massachusetts, USA).
