Background. Antituberculosis drug hepatotoxicity (ATDH) is common in India. Isoniazid, a constituent of most anti- tuberculosis drug regimens, is metabolized by N-acetyltransferase (NAT2) and cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) enzymes.
