Malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT), a highly aggressive cancer of young children, displays inactivation or loss of the hSNF5/INI1/SMARCB1 gene, a core subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin-remodeling complex, in primary tumors and cell lines.
