AIM: The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a ligand activated transcription factor that together with Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator (ARNT) controls the expression of Xenobiotic metabolising enzymes (XME) such as CYP1B1.
