Abstract excerpt
Sox2 is closely related to the gastric phenotype. Sox2 plays a pivotal role in gastric epithelial differentiation in the adult. Sox2 expression is reduced in Helicobacter pylori-associated intestinal metaplastic change of the gastric epithelium.
