Variations in the activities of xenobiotic metabolizing liver enzymes may be involved in the pathophysiology of diseases, including Parkinson's disease. We therefore studied the activity of the debrisoquine metabolizing enzyme in 97 patients with newly diagnosed Parkinson's disease.
