We prepared Adriamycin-resistant cancer cells by exposing an ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma cell line to the drug. The resistant cells also showed cross-resistance to a wide variety of other compounds, including vincristine, vinblastine, actinomycin D, daunorubicin, mitomycin C and carboquone.
