The aim of this work was to analyse a possible genome protection provided by a grape derivative (Tannat wine) in yeast cell populations exposed to H2O2. Haploid and diploid strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were used as eukaryotic model. Cell samples were exposed to H2O2 in a nutrient medium.
