Juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) is a malignant disease of early childhood characterized by a hypersensitivity to granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). Mutations in RAS or PTPN11 are frequently detected in JMML patients.
