Cellular changes have been monitored during the suppression, mediated by the overproduction of tRNA(Lys), of thermosensitivity in Escherichia coli strain AA7852 carrying a mutation in peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase (Pth) encoded by the pth(Ts) gene.
