Cell migration is a complex process that is coordinately regulated by cell-matrix adhesion and actin cytoskeleton. We report here that migfilin, a recently identified component of cell-matrix adhesions, is a biphasic regulator of cell migration. Loss of migfilin impairs cell migration.
