Aspirin-induced asthma (AIA) and aspirin-induced urticaria/ angioedema (AIU) are two major aspirin-related allergies. We summarize recent findings related to their molecular genetic mechanisms in order to identify genetic susceptibility markers for differentiating AIU and AIA.
