Perinatal dexamethasone (Dx) alters the immune system leading to increased infections and developmental abnormalities. Dendritic cells (DCs) derived from cord-blood monocytes are especially Dx sensitive and we sought to determine the effects of Dx on cord-blood CD34+-DCs.
