The status of microsatellite markers located on chromosomes 1p36, 3p25, 5q23, 9p22, 10q23, 10q24, 17p13, and 19q12 was used to determine loss of heterozygosity (LOH) in primary giant cell tumors (GCT) of bone in 12 patients.
