With a panel of rat strains, we demonstrate a strong impact of the MHC genotype on susceptibility and disease course in experimental autoimmune neuritis induced with peripheral nerve myelin or the P2 peptide 58-81 (KNTEISFKLGQEFEETTADNRKTK).
