Chromosomal loss of heterozygosity (LOH) is a common mechanism for the inactivation of tumor suppressor genes in human epithelial cancers. Hybridization to single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) arrays is an efficient method to detect genome-wide cancer LOH.
