Sixteen hospitalized white European Spanish psychiatric patients treated with thioridazine alone were studied with respect to CYP2D6 genotype, debrisoquine metabolic ratio (MR), and the plasma levels of thioridazine and its metabolites mesoridazine and sulforidazine.
