Fibrinogen Matsumoto V (M-V) is a dysfibrinogen identified in a 52-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematous. The triplet AGG encoding the amino acid residue Aalpha19 was replaced by GGG, resulting in the substitution of Arg-->Gly.
