To examine the genetic contribution of HLA and non-HLA genes in the etiopathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), 60 Caucasian multiplex families were identified and DNA analyzed for over 52 markers including DRB1, DQA1 and DQB1 alleles.
