Using the Collaborative Study on the Genetics of Alcoholism (COGA) data, we performed a sib-pair linkage analysis of two smoking-related traits and one alcoholism phenotype. The first trait, EVRNVR, was a dichotomous one we constructed based on epidemiological definitions of smoking.
