Primary central nervous system lymphomas (PCNSLs) have recently received considerable clinical attention due to their increasing incidence. To clarify the histogenetic origin of these intriguing neoplasms, PCNSLs from 10 HIV-negative patients were analyzed for immunoglobulin (Ig) gene rearrangements.
