Spontaneous regression of skin lesions is characteristic of lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP), a clonal cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorder. A minority of LyP patients progress to anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) in which skin lesions no longer regress and extracutaneous dissemination often occurs.
