<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Acyl-CoA synthetase 1 (ACSL1) is an enzyme that converts fatty acids to acyl-CoA-derivatives for use in both lipid catabolism and lipid synthesis, including of arachidonic acid mediators that promote inflammation.
