<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Phosphoinositides (PIs) are a family of seven low abundance membrane lipids, each with distinct signaling functions. The phosphoinositide kinase PIKfyve generates phosphoinositide-3,5-bisphosphate (PI(3,5)P₂) and PI5P.
