The mechanism by which ICI (immune checkpoint inhibitor) induce durable antitumor T cell activity remains inadequately defined. Tumors from melanoma patients who responded to ICI or MAPK pathway inhibitors (MAPKi) therapy generally displayed increased T cell infiltration and interferon gamma (IFNγ) pathway activation.
