Mitochondrial associated RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) have emerged as key contributors to mitochondrial biogenesis and homeostasis. With few examples described, we set out to identify RBPs that regulate nuclear-encoded mitochondrial mRNAs (NEMmRNAs).
