Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR) is a potential drug target for metabolic disorders. It works with glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and glucagon receptor (GCGR) in humans to maintain glucose homeostasis.
