<h4> A bstract </h4> Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) is the most common monogenic mitochondrial disease. FA is caused by a depletion of the mitochondrial protein frataxin (FXN), an iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster biogenesis factor.
