<h4>BACKGROUND AND AIMS</h4> Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a disease that can be prevented if is diagnosed and treated at pre-invasive stages. Thus, the monitoring of colonic cancer progression can improve the early diagnosis and detection of malignant lesions in the colon.
