<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> The β genus of human papillomaviruses (HPVs) infect cutaneous epidermis. They contribute to the development of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) in individuals with epidermodysplasia verruciformis, and increase susceptibility to UV-induced cSCC.
