<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Hypertension (HTN) is associated with inflammation and excessive production of catecholamines. Hypertensive patients have reduced plasma levels of Catestatin (CST), a bioactive cleavage product of the prohormone Chromogranin A (CgA).
