Genetic alterations in a tubular adenoma with severe dysplasia arising in a Brooke ileostomy of a familial adenomatous polyposis patient were analyzed. Clinical and morphological characteristics suggest that ileal mucosa progressed to colonic metaplasia and then to dysplastic adenoma.
