Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) was successful in the mouse when a piezo-driven micropipette was used instead of a mechanically driven conventional pipette. Eighty percent of sperm-injected oocytes survived, and approximately 70% of them developed into blastocysts in vitro.
