Human neuronal and neuroendocrine tumour specimens and cell lines were analysed regarding proteins and transcripts coded by the proto-oncogene c-src. At the protein level, most of the neuroblastomas and phaeochromocytomas expressed the neuronal c-src form, pp60c-srcN.
