PURPOSE: The new drugs bedaquiline, delamanid, and pretomanid have been approved for treating drug-resistant tuberculosis. The World Health Organization currently recommends the BPaL(M) regimen, which lasts 6-9 months, for managing drug-resistant tuberculosis.
