AIMS: The lymphocyte adaptor protein (LNK) is a negative regulator of cytokine and growth factor signalling. The rs3184504 variant in SH2B3 reduces LNK function and is linked to cardiovascular, inflammatory, and haematologic disorders, including stroke.
