BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: To study human leukocyte antigen (HLA) allele associations in anti-leucine-rich glioma-inactivated 1 (LGI1) encephalitis. METHODS: A multiethnic cohort of 269 patients with anti-LGI1 encephalitis and 1,359 controls was included.
