The gasdermin (GSDM) family, a novel group of structure-related proteins, consists of GSDMA, GSDMB, GSDMC, GSDMD, GSDME/DNFA5, and PVJK/GSDMF. GSDMs possess a C-terminal repressor domain, cytotoxic N-terminal domain, and flexible linker domain (except for GSDMF).
