Wolfram syndrome (WFS) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by diabetes mellitus and insipidus, progressive optic atrophy and sensorineural deafness. An increased incidence of psychiatric disorders has also been reported in WFS patients. There are two subtypes of WFS.
