Langerhans cell histiocytosis, Rosai-Dorfman disease, and juvenile xanthogranuloma may present at birth or any time afterward. Some patients have minimal skin or lymph node involvement, but others present with life-threatening pulmonary, hepatic, bone marrow, or central nervous system lesions.
