Phenotypic screening of a Medicines for Malaria Venture compound library against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) identified a cluster of pan-active 2-pyrazolylpyrimidinones. The biology triage of these actives using various tool strains of Mtb suggested a novel mechanism of action.
