Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) play key roles in the pathogenesis of different human diseases, but the cross-talk between FGFs and other cytokines remains largely unexplored. We identified an unexpected antagonistic effect of FGFs on the interferon (IFN) signaling pathway.
