Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors (DNT) lacking key diagnostic criteria are challenging to diagnose and sometimes fall into the broader category of mixed neuronal-glial tumors (MNGT) or the recently described polymorphous low-grade neuroepithelial tumor of the young (PLNTY).
