Dual antiplatelet therapy is the gold standard for the clinical treatment of coronary artery disease, especially for acute coronary syndromes patients. However, a substantial number of patients do not respond to clopidogrel despite a standardized dosage regimen, and this is directly associated with poor prognosis. Genetic polymorphisms may be one of the most important factors that contribute to this phenomenon....
