We aimed to investigate polymyxin B (PMB) resistance and its molecular mechanisms in 126 Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from rectal swabs in Brazil. Ten isolates exhibited PMB resistance with interruption of mgrB gene by insertion sequences or missense mutations.
