Mouse N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (ENU) mutagenesis has generated many useful animal models for human diseases. Here we describe the identification of a novel ENU-induced mouse mutant strain Turner (Tur) that displays circling and headtossing behavior and progressive hearing loss.
