The intracellular roles of Granzyme B (GrB) in immune-mediated cell killing have been extensively studied. Recent data also implicate GrB in extracellular pathways of inflammation, cytokine activation and autoimmunity. Targeting (GrB) provides a new pharmaceutical agent for various inflammatory disorders.
