NRAS and BRAF mutations occur in congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN), but results are contradictory. Sixty-six prospectively collected CMN patients were analyzed for NRAS Q61 mutations using Sanger sequencing. Negative cases were evaluated for BRAF V600E mutation.
